No Season 3 for the Denis Leary comedy.
September 9, 2016
It is being reported that FX has cancelled Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll after two seasons. The comedy, which starred and was created by Denis Leary, followed an aging rock star who attempts to make a comeback in the music business.
While its first season drew decent numbers for the cable network, viewership tapered off considerably during Season 2. The show wrapped its sophomore season earlier this month, capping a run of 20 total episodes.

I like it when bad shows get cancelled because maybe something better will get created. Half of what's on TV stinks and should be ridiculed.
Never be afraid to laugh at yourself, after all, you could be missing out on the joke of the century.

I never understood why people "celebrate" the fact that a show they don't like gets cancelled. Just because you don't like Dennis Leary or the show, doesn't mean you should gloat and revel in the fact that dozens of people from the crew, writers, post-production, etc. are out of a job.

While not the best show on TV I would take it over any of the REALITY Crap that airs. Maybe not some folks cup of tea I enjoyed the show.

I watched for 5 minutes three times. I guess that wasn't enough to pull it over the edge. Or maybe it was my luger.

It's not like Leary ran out of comedians whose jokes he could steal. He's been doing that all along, yet this show never made it.

Good riddance. As a musician, I thought I'd really like this show. The music was bland and the characters were completely unlikable.
