The Marvel drama will return for Season 2.
December 4, 2016
Netflix announced today that Luke Cage has been renewed for a second season. The drama, which is the third and most-recent Marvel series to hit the streaming service, premiered its 13-episode first season in September of this year.
Luke Cage follows the titular crime-fighting superhero who uses his superhuman strength to clean up the streets of Harlem. The character first appeared in Marvel's Jessica Jones, which has also been renewed for a second season due in 2018.
No time frame has been announced for the return of Luke Cage, so it could be some time until Season 2 is released.

Much like with Jessica Jones, I don't know where they'll go with that, but I'm looking forward to it.

No doubt in my mind about this one. Unlike Jessica Jones and up until today Sense8 was unofficially in the works.
