The comedy favorite will return next season.
January 20, 2017
NBC has made it official: Will & Grace is being revived for a return to television during the 2017-2018 season. Rumors of a possible revival had been swirling since last fall, when the cast reunited for a short online special urging Americans to vote in the upcoming presidential election. And while that was done without any involvement from NBC, it was obviously enough to get the network to start seriously considering a continuation of the series.
Will & Grace originally premiered in 1998 and during its eight years on the air became a staple in the peacock network's Must See TV comedy lineup on Thursday nights. The series was revered by both audiences and critics alike, consistently drawing top ratings and taking home numerous awards. With today's news, the series joins the growing list of fan-favorite shows coming back to television after extended absences.
NBC has ordered a 10 episode limited run of Will & Grace for its return in 2017-2018. Original stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally are all reprising their roles, with creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan taking on the showrunning duties.

Sean Hayes just HAS to get his gay agenda shown somewhere..... even if that means reviving a bad series from the 90s. I just thank god that the networks caught on for the most part and stopped including the gay-twist in every new show. Why is it that EVERY gay character on TV has to be overly effeminate if male and overly butch if female? I've known many gay people in my life and were it not for them telling me.. I'd have never known they were gay... yet tv "gays" are just "queer as a $3 bill" in all cases. Save for the Walking Dead... that show actually shows some respect for the gay characters.

Ugh, why?!? This nonsense was crap the first time around, we don't need more of it.

I just hate when they try to bring good back a show when some of the actors can't keep a job. Debra Messings should stick to her hateful selfies.

I watched Will & Grace once in a while but I could never get into it because Megan Mullally's character and especially the Jack character were so damn annoying.

@Plop .. One Day at a Time is already on Netflix.. but it has only a VERY slight resemblance to the original show... it's not su much as a "revival" as a "remake" based LOOSELY on the original premise. They used the same name... to get viewers... it's not anywhere near the same show. (And I, personally, dislike Rita Moreno in practically everything I see her in.)

@Zed Its not the same as blackface. A gay person can play a straight person and Vice Versa. Gay actor Nathan Lane has played straight characters (although he usually plays gay). A straight actor playing a gay person shows that he isn't afraid to be portrayed as gay thus not offensive. Its not the same as a white guy painting his face black and over acting his fake blackness.

I will be so happy to see them all back again. You all are like so many in this world today, so negative! Give it a chance before you dump all over it with your bad remarks. Will and Grace was never a B show.
