NBC announced today that Blindspot has been renewed for a third season. This will surely be welcome news to its fans, as the drama has seen its sophomore season ratings slip to levels that left observers questioning its chances for a return.
Blindspot premiered in 2015 as one of the year's most promising entries, with strong enough ratings to help it secure an early Season 2 pickup. And while its sophomore run started off with decent numbers, viewership started slipping a few weeks in to levels lower than many considered healthy. Its ratings have stabilized though, and remain quite consistent week after week.
Created by Martin Gero, Blindspot follows a mysterious woman who is discovered in Times Square, naked and covered in tattoos. Brought to the FBI with no memory of who she is or where she came from, the realization that her tattoos are all linked to crimes to be solved sets in motion an international plot with far-reaching implications.

If you search on here u will see that they cancelled Timeless, but then reversed the decision at the network. It's renewed.

Maybe more networks should also look at the broader audience that here Shows are broadcast in other Countries,not just US ratings, i am in the UK and think this show is great!!!! so glad its been renewed for Sea3, well thats another dvd boxset to the collection !

I am happy it was renewed, but I am tired of all these programs that feel the need to have a season long conspiracy as part of the story. I get tired of the storyline about 3 episodes in. I started watching because I wanted to see how each tattoo would unfold a new problem to solve. I guess that would make the writers work too hard for original stories for each week.

Naked Woman with tattoos. I abandoned it about 30 minutes into the first episode. This is renewed, but Timeless gets the axe. Bollocks!
