The comedy panel show will end after 600 episodes.
July 18, 2017
Comedy Central announced this evening that @midnight will be coming to an end next month after four seasons and 600 episodes. Hosted by Chris Hardwick, the late-night improv comedy panel show has been a staple on the cable network since 2013, and over the course of its run has garnered solid viewership among a highly-coveted younger-skewing audience.
The series features Chris Hardwick hosting a panel of three comedians, who compete against each other in a series of Internet-themed improv games. The decision to end the show was reportedly a mutual agreement between Hardwick, the network, and the show's producers.
The final week of @midnight begins on Monday, July 31, leading up to the series finale on Friday, August 4.

Very sorry to see the show go. It started as a great block following Stewart and Colbert, and introduced me to a ton of comedians that I probably wouldn't have seen without this type of outlet. Definitely one of my favorites shows on TV and definitely the best show on Comedy Central.

Time to start watching Desus & Mero on Viceland - most @midnight fans will appreciate it

Well, @ least they did The Drag Queens of Comedy. That only took four years, how progressive. Honestly, I did stop watching months ago. It did get repetitive, but not in a good way. Plus, there is kind of a Chris Hardwick overload going on right now. He kind of needs to pull back a bi

Not happy, but glad to hear it won't get a new host and slowly rot. I used to check everyday to see who was on, but it started to get repetitive. Once it really stopped being lets laugh at the internet's views on today, and more at the internet itself, I gave up. The current stuff was fun but lately it was standard stuff that was a little old. 600 episodes is a good run for a show.

Shocked and sorry to see it go. I love the show. It never failed to make me laugh.

Love the show and sad to see it go, but not fully shocked. The gimmickry guests of late (Kenny G anyone?) spoke to how they were starting to run dry.
I'm guessing Funches, Tompkins and... ugh... Benson... will be the final panel for ultimate grand Internet champion. Either that or Hardwick will pull a Duckman and have the series end on a cliffhanger.
