The Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that Queen Sugar has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes midway through the drama's sophomore run, which has continued to garner critical praise and strong ratings for the cable network.
Co-created and executive produced by Oprah Winfrey, Queen Sugar follows estranged sisters who reunite in Louisiana after inheriting their father's sugarcane farm. New Season 2 episodes are currently airing on Wednesday nights. As for Season 3, look for a premiere in mid-2018.
