Netflix announced today that Ozark has been renewed for a second season. The pickup comes less than a month after the show's premiere, making it the third freshman series on the streaming service to have its fate decided in the past week. Wrestling comedy GLOW was renewed last Thursday, while Naomi Watts thriller Gypsy was cancelled a day later.

Executive produced by and starring Jason Bateman, Ozark follows a financial adviser who, until recently, lived with his family in the city of Chicago. But his other job as a top money launderer for the criminal underworld forces him to up and move his wife and kids to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. There, he's tasked with laundering $500 million over the next five years for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico.

Netflix has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 2 of Ozark, which will likely return in 2018.
