No Season 4 for the sci-fi drama.
September 15, 2017
It is being reported that Freeform has canceled Stitchers after three seasons. The science fiction crime drama, which concluded its most-recent run last month, was one of the cable network's older shows from back when it was known as ABC Family.
The network's first procedural drama, Stitchers followed a young woman who is able to 'stitch' herself into the minds of the recently-deceased. Today's move follows Freeform's recent strategy shift to focus more on "becomers" - or young adults experiencing new life changes.
The series had its best performance during its freshman year, where it averaged roughly 900,000 viewers. While its numbers dipped in Season 2, it still ranked as the Disney-owned network's second-highest rated new series over two seasons among adults 18-49, behind only Shadowhunters. But with the the shift in programming and its numbers not picking up, the cancellation is really not much of a surprise.

Strong show, just finished watching all three seasons after discovering it. Hit the cliffie end of S3 and ... going to hope Netflix, Prime, Hulu, or one of the other up and coming producer/distributors picks this one up before they lose the cast and sets. Seems like it would have strong possibilities for new stories and cases, character growth, and there are long-game story arcs they never fully resolved.

Freeform is swinging in the wind. they have an identity crisis and just don't know what to do. their main claim was Pretty Little Liars and that is done. the spin off from that was fun and could have been really good but no dice, left us hanging. 9 Lives of Chloe King, left us hanging. Lying game, left us hanging. Twisted. Left us hanging. Dead of Summer. Finished it but could have done more seasons with new stories ala American Horror Story (which frankly has gotten terrible). Lesson here is DON"T GET HOOKED ON ANY OF THEIR SHOWS. better yet, don't bother with em at all

There was only a couple shows I ever watched on freeform and this was one of them. Guess I have no reason to even look at this channel anymore.

It's a shame. I think this last season's story line was an attempt to broaden the show's ability to move beyond it's original concept. Networks need to consider the impact of course corrections 0n a series. Also sad to see our gal Allison Scagliotti, after being morphed into skirt chaser, will not be entertaining us with any more saphic adventures.

Once again, a good show gets cancelled going into a whole new twist in the story and leaves everyone hanging. who ever is in charge...if the show is in trouble, let them know so it can be put to an ending so if cancelled...we the fans know how it ends. makes me not want to invest in watching a show with a story line...was left hung out to dry with no endings.
