Netflix announced today that Big Mouth has been picked up for a second season. The animated comedy released its first 10 episodes on the streaming service late last month, and the show has so far been accumulating generally positive reviews for its sharp and smart take on the awkwardness of adolescence.

Co-created by actor and comedian Nick Kroll, Big Mouth follows a fictionalized version of himself and his best friend in their teenage years as their lives are getting turned upside down by puberty. With their hormones raging and their bodies doing all sorts of strange things, life has never been so confusing for them and their friends.

The series is the latest adult-targeted animated comedy to hit Netflix, joining such others as F is for Family, Castlevania, and BoJack Horseman, which debuted on the streaming service back in 2014 as its first original entry in the category.

Look for Season 2 of Big Mouth in 2018.
