The network is shuffling its Monday lineup after a slow start.
November 1, 2017
Scheduling changes are afoot at CBS today, and the resulting casualty is Me, Myself & I. Effective immediately, the network is shuffling its low-rated Monday night comedy block after just one week without powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, which is now airing on Thursdays.
While the network's entire Monday lineup drew lackluster ratings this week, Me, Myself & I is the only show being removed from the schedule. The move comes after the freshman comedy's sixth episode, leaving seven of its 13 total episodes left unaired for now, with question marks around when they will see the light of day.
Me, Myself & I premiered in early September to fairly decent reviews but never seemed to generate much buzz among viewers. Starring Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan, the half-hour series follows a man through three pivotal periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, as a present-day middle-aged man at 40, and in his elder years in 2042.
The departure of Me, Myself & I makes room for the return of Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan, which will premiere its second season on November 13 at 8:30pm after Kevin Can Wait (a Big Bang Theory rerun is slotted in next week). Superior Donuts will stay on at 9:00pm, with newbie 9JKL hoping to fare better in the 9:30pm time slot.
As for Me, Myself & I's future, things aren't looking good. It's possible CBS will find a future time slot to air its remaining episodes, but don't expect it to return for Season 2.

Really too bad. I wasn't sold on this show when it started, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. It deserved a better fate.

This show reminds me of "The Wonder Years". It is one of my favorite new shows this season! PLEASE bring it back!

This show is awesome! My wife is hard to please when it comes to new shows but she is completely on board with it. Great writing and actors. I don't care that young and old him are skinny and middle age man is husky. Who cares. The cast is great together. It's a bit different from everything else on tv right now and thats a good thing. Give it more time for followers.

I had a feeling this wouldn't grab a big enough audience to stay on the air. I was rooting for it though cause of John Larroquette. I agree with many that it should have been given a better chance but also agree with a couple others who wondered how a skinny kid could become fat in his 40s then not fat again in old age, plus grow a foot taller. That was a head scratcher for the Plopster as well.

This is the best show in the Monday night lineup! Creative concept, well written and the actors are great.
Bad decision!!!

I really, really like this show!! For once it's not a show about a kid who had a terrible stepdad and evil stepbrother! It is a really good family show! The writing is excellent and the actors that play all the characters in the different phases of life are terrific! I would much rather see CBS take off "Kevin Can Wait" (that show is predictable and stupid!). Please CBS, don't cancel "Me, Myself, & I"!!!!

Add me to the five pages of folks generally loving this show. Sharp, witty and with a bit of warmth thrown in to enjoy. But I'm not surprised. They didn't have at least one character being a coarse mental-defective that is still allowed to wander around unsupervised. Most modern shows cover their bets with at least half the cast being too stupid to live. Then, to compound their mistakes, "Me, Myself and I" didn't use jokes involving dogs taking a dump on the kitchen table, which is the comedy gold standard of the modern era.

When the season started, I set my DVR to record Big Bang, 9JKL (just to see what it was like and it is horrible) and Me Myself and I - well loved Me Myself and I - good writing and the young actor and John Laurquette were just great and everything about the show was appealing. WHy they did not put it on at 8 for a family to watch is beyond me. So now for me no more CBS Monday - They lost me - CBS must be run by people never listen to the viewers - did not give this show a chance and it was headed in the right direction. I am tired of Big Bang so I do not watch it anymore - Young Sheldon has some appeal but since it is decent and enjoyable I am sure CBS will cancel it and bring some sort of garbage show - Mom is very foul, the comments and language are disgusting and as a woman, I am offended - I do not talk like the mother or the friends and I am 64. Women like me do not act nor talk like that. Shame on you CBS - you are cutting your own throats!!! I guess if NBC or ABC are sharp they can pick it up and run with it - I will be there
