The network is shuffling its Monday lineup after a slow start.
November 1, 2017
Scheduling changes are afoot at CBS today, and the resulting casualty is Me, Myself & I. Effective immediately, the network is shuffling its low-rated Monday night comedy block after just one week without powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, which is now airing on Thursdays.
While the network's entire Monday lineup drew lackluster ratings this week, Me, Myself & I is the only show being removed from the schedule. The move comes after the freshman comedy's sixth episode, leaving seven of its 13 total episodes left unaired for now, with question marks around when they will see the light of day.
Me, Myself & I premiered in early September to fairly decent reviews but never seemed to generate much buzz among viewers. Starring Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan, the half-hour series follows a man through three pivotal periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, as a present-day middle-aged man at 40, and in his elder years in 2042.
The departure of Me, Myself & I makes room for the return of Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan, which will premiere its second season on November 13 at 8:30pm after Kevin Can Wait (a Big Bang Theory rerun is slotted in next week). Superior Donuts will stay on at 9:00pm, with newbie 9JKL hoping to fare better in the 9:30pm time slot.
As for Me, Myself & I's future, things aren't looking good. It's possible CBS will find a future time slot to air its remaining episodes, but don't expect it to return for Season 2.

I hate to see this show pulled from the Monday night schedule.
CBS has worse shows. How does anyone stand watching 9JKL or Scorpion. If Monday night has low ratings, why not move Young Sheldon to Monday nights without the lead in from The Big Bang Theory and see how well it does.

It was a good show. And why waste the money , show the eps on a saturday. It was just too intelligent a show for some tv viewers.

CBS is an absolutely garbage network. The only thing worth watching on it is Big Brother (although this last season left much to be desired) and Me, Myself, and I but they're taking that away. It has been such an original, funny, and heartfelt show, but apparently they'd rather stick with been-done-a-million-times-before trash like Kevin Can Wait (aka King of Queens 2) and 9jkl. The Big Bang Theory isn't good either and I don't know how it keeps going other than the people who have been watching it from the beginning feel like they're too invested to give up now. I have wondered for years how CBS stays afloat. My grandmother is the only person I know who enjoys its programming.

It's to bad. It's actually a new show and not retread like many others. Man with plan isn't great and been done. Basically Kevin can't wait which is being forced to be king of queens. Then u got lethal weapon swat rush hour and so on. No original thinking. And this show is so much different than most others. I really hope it comes back. And that 9klj is terrible

This is getting old! I would love to have an opportunity to take 1 of these executives jobs at a network. I like this show. It's not the best, but it's certainly better than a lot of what is on tv and it's only getting better. Instead of dumping a show so quickly, give it some more time and then, in my opinion, they should try it in a different time slot. There are kids involved in this show and they have it on at 9:30. Right off the back, maybe 8/8:30. Maybe a different night. If there not careful, the slaughtering of the subscription services and premium channels will continue. I never written on this site and normally don't comment. However, I'm just in disbelief at the point and I think it's a mistake for me to stay silent. Please wake up! Most of us use tv as an inexpensive form of entertainment, but the major network executives are ruining it and making it cost more and more for various reasons. Start with this show and reconsider please! Then think about it in more detail in the future. Remember again, time slots matter a lot! Also people like my wife generally gives a show not even 1 episode to grab her. However, there are times she'll give more of an opportunity. It happened on this one, yet I'm still watching and I think it's good. It also happened with her on a show called a Big Bang Theory. I think that show is doing ok, right? LOL. She came back to it and has been watching since the first season. Bring this show back along with others that belong, but give people a chance to reconsider.

I really liked this show much better than 9jkl for sure. Kevin can wait because it is terrible show...it isn't the King of Queens. If they cancel me myself and I I hope it is picked up by Netflix or Amazon.

This show is the first show I've seen in ages with an original concep! It's so well written and preformed by all of the actors and actresses on the show! I hope CBS gives it another chance and picks it up for a second season. They'd be foolish to cancel it.

I loved the show. It was funny and heartwarming. The kid was great in both the sitcom and in the movie IT. This was one of the few remaining comedies that I watched on network TV. I hope that it will find life on Netflix or some other provider.
