It looks like Disney Channel has decided that camp will be closing in the near future, as Bunk'd has reportedly filmed wrapped filming of its series finale. That episode will be part of the show's already-announced but yet-to-air third season.
Show star Skai Jackson, who plays Zuri, took to Twitter last week to state that she had "finished taping the very last episode" of the kids comedy. The live-action series, which was renewed for Season 3 back in August, last aired a new episode almost a year ago and has yet to set a premiere date for its final season.
Bunk'd stars Peyton List as Emma Ross, who along with her adoptive brother and sister, leave their swanky New York digs to attend Camp Kikiwaka in Maine, where their parents had met when they were teenagers. Along with their newfound friends, the trio try to adapt to their new lives at summer camp.
The third season will reportedly find the Ross kids back at Camp Kikiwaka after some of its cabins were destroyed in a fire. After learning the camp's owner fled with the insurance money, the kids will dig deep into their wealthy parents' pockets to help save their beloved home away from home.
Finished taping the very last episode of Bunk'd tonight. It was tough the last 2 days because I have strep throat and a fever. 😷 Making sure I take it easy the next few days because I have to start my new show strong next week.— Skai Jackson ♡ (@skaijackson) March 28, 2018
