No Season 3 for the Kaitlin Olson comedy.
May 10, 2018
It is being reported that Fox has canceled The Mick after two seasons. The sad news comes a month following the show's sophomore run, with the last episode on April 3 now acting as its series finale.
This season was The Mick's first on the network's regular fall schedule after starting out as a mid-season entry on New Years Day in 2017. The show wasted no time in putting up strong numbers that resulted in four episodes being added to its freshman run. Its good fortunes didn't last, though, as ratings tapered off during the second-half of Season 1 and further in Season 2.
The Mick stars It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson in her first leading role on network television. She plays Mickey - an overbearing hustler from Rhode Island who is unexpectedly given guardianship of her estranged sister's three high-maintenance children.

"Glad to see this show got cancelled. I did not think it was funny at all based on the promos I saw."
I can't roll my eyes enough at this vapid comment.

They cancel this but bring back Last man standing. I can not watch Fox any more. I will not support a network that is that dumb. The Mick was way better than Last Man Standing. I hope Fox goes bankrupt over this.

How about another network picking this up? I loved this show!

This was the funniest show on TV. Way to go, Fox. Renew some more procedural and reality shows.

I was happy for Kaitlin to get a show that she could really get the credit she deserves after years with Sunny. I hope she can find another avenue for her talents.

I'm so sick of this! So tired of these great shows getting cancelled. I love Kaitlin Olsen. The Voice got renewed though--that was important to renew The Voice!

This show really grew on me. Didn't love it at first but ended up loving it over time. Jimmy and Alba were my favorite characters. This is a bummer.

This is complete bullshit. One of the funniest shows on TV.
