The comedy will return for Season 7.
May 11, 2018
The rumors were true - Fox announced today that Last Man Standing is being revived and will return for a seventh season. The good news comes almost exactly one year after the Tim Allen comedy was cancelled by its original network, ABC.
Earlier this month, multiple outlets were reporting that Fox was interested in bringing back the popular sitcom. The network obviously heard the significant outcry from fans after ABC unexpectedly axed the series, which was still a solid performer at the time. The recent success story of Roseanne's revival quite possibly sped up efforts to bring the show back to appease a large fan base that obviously was not ready for it to end.
Last Man Standing will return for the 2018-2019 television season and is set to include most, if not all, of the original cast.

This show is great. My missus and I find it really funny, we can only watch it on Amazon Prime. Great family comedy with Tim Allen. And I love it how they take the mick out of previous shows.
To all the negative people on here giving bad reviews. YOU guys/gals realise there is a whole WORLD out there beside America that enjoy the shows you guys don't. The middle of the Universe is not Northern America.

Don't know where you get that this show helped a foreign power rig an election. It's apparent from that comment you don't even watch the show.
Try taking your conspiracy theories and fascism somewhere else.

I thought tv comedy was to make people laugh not try to help a foreign power rig an election. I don't laugh at crimes being committed. I like shows where the parents don't try to indoctrinate the kids. This was a funny show when the guy had a tool based tv shop. Now this is just bashing and politics. Not comedy. I don't wanna compare this to late night talk shows, but I heard jay leno was on it.

If you believe that this show teaches kids to disrespect the current party in power, then you miss the whole point of television comedy. And, if you're not going to watch it because it's a "mean show", then you must not have watched almost any television between 2000 and 2009.

I just watched some of this show for the Election and before. I now realize it was teaching kids to disrespect the current party in power. As I said I can not watch a show that teaches kids to disrespect authority. I am no longer watching this mean show.

Unfortunately the premiere of the new show on Fox was very uneven. There were too many jokes about switching networks.
The new actor playing Mandy was completely opposite from Molly Ephraim, and seemed to be a parody of the bubble-headed original Mandy. The show has now replaced two of the daughters, and Kaitlyn Dever who plays Eve apparently will now only be doing occasional guest appearances.
Even the actor playing Boyd has changed (once again) and it looks like they bumped his age up again a few more years so Mike can have a new character to play off of with the loss of Eve.
At least the ol' gang at the store was still the same.
I'm rooting for this reboot, but it's not promising.

Great show glad it is back. I like the political views that the show projects. I will not watch any show that ABC airs on the Friday night line up. Its good to see a good family show that does not teach children to disrespect their parents or authority to make a come back versus some of the other trash on tv that shows disrespect that keep getting renewed.

John H. Schneider II are you saying good values, respect, and decency won? They canceled this too? I thought we were still fighting this one.
