No Season 5 for the veteran drama.

Word is out that CBS has cancelled Scorpion after four seasons on the air. Star Katharine McPhee confirmed the news on her Twitter account this morning, thanking her cast mates and crew for her time on the show.
The action drama, which follows a group of geniuses helping to solve high-priority crimes, was a decent performer for the bulk of its run. Its most-recent season saw a significant downturn in viewership, however, making today's cancellation somewhat expected.

This was one of my favorite Monday night shows! And I don't think it was corny or far fetched at all--it had a bit o humor to it which I liked. I thought it was really neat this show was based on real geniuses....and I agree with @Fran too. CBS keeps dumb reality shows on but cancels this wonderful show. Maybe CBS ill reverse their bad decision or another network will revive the show like NBC did with Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I can only hope!

Why cancel a show that give our children the platform of science to better their lives with education. It gives the kids the foot print of how science can work in the world. I hope that you reverse your decision on cancelling the show. My granddaughter really liked watching the show. You have shows that really don't give our kids a path. Thank you for your time.

Women audience got tired of watching fat Sly and soyboys emote and act like little girls. I'm surprized it lased this long as they got rid of any normal guys on the show.

@MoeB - Yeah, but this show was pointedly obvious about it. I could predict with great accuracy what was going to happen in the next scene. The complicated plan fails, the revised plan is devised, it fails, rinse and repeat.
Even the L&A shows try to shake up the episode's outlines a bit.

But I do agree with others. I think the show ran it's course and then it was going into a love triangle scenario...Not good. But I do think it was one of Eddie Kaye Thomas best acting jobs.

The show may have been far fetched and corny but it was entertaining, isn’t that what tv is all about? Instead of these reality tv. Very disappointed!

@tirebiter You do realize that many shows follow the same type of order. How do you think Law and Order made it so long on TV?
