Netflix announced today that Lost in Space has been renewed for a second season. The pickup comes a month following the release of the drama's freshman run, which has so-far been receiving mixed review from critics.
A re-imagining of the 1960s series of the same name, Lost in Space follows a future where Planet Earth is in crisis, and the Robinson family journeys to space with hopes of writing a new chapter in human history. But when their spacecraft crashes on a mysterious frozen planet, the family faces unknown dangers as they fight for their lives to escape.
Look for Season 2 of Lost in Space in 2019.

You know what...bring it! It started not to promising, and my biggest problem with Season 1 remains its excruciatingly boring and generic soundtrack, but it was an interesting take on the 60's series and it got better as the episodes progressed. I wouldn't have been disappointed if it was not renewed, but I will watch Season 2.

Excellent! Started slow, but got better and better. Loving Parker Posey as Dr. Smith! Looking forward to the new season....

Nothing has been comfirmed for AC. Just a lot of speculation that it will highly likely be back which isn't a guarantee.

Excellent news, this was a really good and well made show. Only issue is the casting of the doctor. Parker Posey is the wrong person, not a good actress at all.

Liked season 1 (Much better than the Altered Carbon melodrama). Will catch season 2.

Way too slow. I couldn't take it.
Glad for the renewal for those that were hoping for it.
