The Superman prequel will return for Season 2.
May 22, 2018
Syfy announced today that freshman drama Krypton has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes ahead of tomorrow's season finale.
The Superman prequel premiered in March with a 10-episode run that, despite mixed reviews, fared well for the cable network. The show has been averaging 1.8 million viewers (Live+3), making it Syfy's most-watched new series in four years.
Set on the titular planet 200 years before the birth of Kal-El, aka Superman, Krypton follows his grandfather Seg-El. He is the son of a disgraced scientist whose time travel research has cost the family their standing in society. With the House of El having fallen from grace, a power struggle ignites between the planet's elite classes. Things get worse when a hero arrives from the future with bad news regarding the family's bloodline.
Look for Season 2 of Krypton in 2019.

Thanks will take you opinion into account before deciding to delete or watch, lets see what reviews say after tomorrows finale. Most likely going to skip it though and do you still enjoy the CW DC Show's? I still watch them all but only really enjoy Legends, Arrow and Flash are pissing me off more then any other show. Super girl is tolerable and very Meh.
Sunk Cost and Hope is keeping me watching but i very much doubt shows will improve. To many mistakes have been made; stupid plot lines (even for a comic book show), ridiculous hypocrisy and continuity breaking events. The writers/show runners are/seem increasingly incompetent and daft.
I would sincerely advise them to take advise from Joss & Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. These guys no how to produce quality content.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. > DC CW Shows Combined.
I don't really like any of the characters (maybe Adam Strange), writing and story isn't that good.
I end up surfing on my tablet while watching which shows I get bored. Might watch 1 more but I doubt it'll get better.
I liked Gotham, Flash and Supergirl, not a big fan of Arrow (just end it or stop the crossovers).
Not sure why they base it on krypton. It could be generic SF on any planet. Seems like a teen angst melodrama.
I agree with the others. I'd rather have The Expanse.
