The Navy SEAL drama will not return for Season 3.
June 29, 2018
It is being reported that History has cancelled Six after two seasons. The Navy SEAL drama is currently in the midst of its sophomore run, with four episodes remaining until its now-series finale in early August.
The show premiered early last year and had a solid debut outing, airing eight episodes that delivered strong ratings for the cable network. Season 2, however, has not fared as well. Viewership through its first six episodes if off by nearly half compared to Season 1, making it difficult to warrant a third season pickup.
Inspired by true events, Six takes place in the high stakes world of the elite Navy Special Operations unit known as SEAL Team Six. Its members are tasked with the covert mission of eliminating a Taliban leader in Afghanistan, but the mission goes awry when they discover that a U.S. citizen is working with the terrorists.

This show was not good, at all. I really don't think bringing anti-gun and anti-military Olivia Munn to a show that is geared toward the opposite type people will help it. She is nice to look at, but there is nothing upstairs.

1st season was good !! 2nd season, not so much !! Miss Walton Goggins !! Too much family drama for a war show !!

Goggin's leaving sank this show. You can't blame Munn for that. She did a fine job. At least Goggins is in the new Antman and the wasp movie.

What do you expect when you swap in Munn for Goggins? That's like replacing a quality steak with some Steam 'Um. It just hasn't been near as good as S1 and this isn't surprising and you know, not even really sad to be honest.

Olivia Munn does it again. I knew cancelled when they brought her on. Not her fault. Not a good fit. Like Green Bay QB. Aaron Rogers.

I really thought the History Network was a safer place for this show to air despite the fact that obviously it would have a smaller audience than network. As sad as I am by this cancellation, I am glad to know BEFORE I watch the last episode.
@Todd Thanks for the smile.

Probably weren't enough transgendered freaks and gay sex scenes in the show to satisfy the LGBTQ crowd so the executives deep-sixed Six.

Sadly not as good as The Brave and Seal Team. Too much about the private lives and not enough action in season 2. First season was great.

Season 1 was good, I didn’t realize season 2 had started yet til I seen it here being cancelled. Not a lot of advertising to make people aware it was coming back on! First The Brave now SIX, I don’t know what I’ll do if they cancel Comic Book Men! Oh wait! Lol...
