The sci-fi drama will not be back for Season 4.
July 21, 2018
It appears as if Colony has been cancelled after three seasons. The sad news comes just days before the sci-fi drama's season finale - which will now serve as its series ender.
The writing appeared to be on the wall when fans noticed a lack of representation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, where the show has been known to have a regular presence. A tweet by Wes Tooke, who wrote numerous episodes each season, expressed sadness that they won't be able to finish their story.
The series had a solid run on USA Network, at one time ranking as cable television's most-watched scripted series on Thursday nights. Viewership has tapered off, however, with Season 3 hitting series lows that were obviously not up to the network's expectations.
Set in the near future where Los Angeles becomes occupied by outside invaders, Colony follows a former FBI agent and his wife as they risk everything to protect their family and bring liberty back to the people of earth.

To JP - Sounds like the same boring stuff you posted on Reverie. Typical keyboard creeper...so sad.

Are you serious. This is shocking. The series is building up for an awesome battle and you cancel it. WTH are you's smoking over there at the USA network.

The war is just getting started and now it's cancelled not cool. Hope it gets picked up by another channel. If it's not reality or game show doesn't stay on air long. Should at least get chance to tie it all up.

This was the best season ever. Hopefully someone comes to their senses, or someone else picks it up.

I agree with everyone else who is complaining about leaving us hanging. USA really needs to at least do some type of movie bringing the storyline to a conclusion.

Such a disappointment! I don't know why these great series keep getting cancelled, but "Dancing With The Stars" goes on and on... has the average I.Q. level dropped that much over the last few years? And yet again, no advance notice so that the show's producers can at least try to tie the storyline up with some semblance of a series finale; another cliffhanger with no end. It really does make one question whether or not it's worth investing time to keep faithfully following a series when they keep cancelling them and leaving them hanging in mid-story...

I agree with BIG KAHUNA. The U.S.A. or SyFy network should let them finish the show with a two hour episode. Otherwise It is getting hard to watch T.V. anymore. You start watching a show and like it. But it gets cancelled. If it keeps happening, I'll just cancel my dish subscription and stop watching T.V.

I really hate it when a good show has to be cancelled and they end it with a big F U to all the fans of the show.
Won't be watching any show on USA ever again.
