Netflix has renewed Ozark for a third season. The pickup, which comes just over a month since the show's sophomore release, was first announced by star Jason Bateman with a post on Twitter early this morning. The news should please fans of the show, who were no doubt awaiting word on its fate after the final episode of Season 2 clearly indicated that there is plenty more story left to tell.

Executive produced by and starring Bateman, the dark drama follows a financial adviser whose side job as a money launderer for the criminal underworld forces him to move his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. There, he's tasked with laundering $500 million over the next five years for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico.

Netflix has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 3 of Ozark, which will likely return in 2019.
