No Season 6 for the zombie drama.
December 22, 2018
Word is out that Z Nation has been cancelled by Syfy and will end its run after its current fifth season. Executive producer David Michael Latt broke the news to fans with a video message posted on his Twitter account confirming that there will be no Season 6.
Set in a post-zombie apocalypse, Z Nation follows a group of everyday heroes trying to save humanity as they search for a cure for the virus. On the air since 2014, the zombie drama is the longest-running scripted original currently in the cable network's roster.
The show will sign off for good with its series finale, fitting titled "The End of Everything", on December 28.

Ugh unable to edit:
The show was not notified of renewal when they shot their episodes many months ago , so I do not expect a proper ending.

Mike, well that sucks! It should get a proper ending! Well, this is the last of the shows I watch on SyFy since they have canceled everything else. I will miss you "puppies and kittens"!

I am going to miss this show. Always kept you guessing. Even when it became absurd, it held my interest. I have given up on TWD. Jeepers where will I get my Z fix now?

OMG...I will miss this campy little jewel. I'm glad they brought Addy back this season. I hope it gets a proper ending. Ah, come on SyFy...give it one more season! Ed, I loved the giant zombie ball too! I love TWD, but this show is more my guilty pleasure!

With each new season I always got the feeling that the producers went "Wait a minute! They actually renewed us??? Now what do we do?" It was especially true after they got Murphy to the west coast and fulfilled the premise of the first season.
Every season after that was almost like a new series, and I can't say always for the better. Almost one season was devoted to "Z Weed" for example. I often wonder how much of the show was improvisation.
Anyway, it's about time.

best way to kill an hour on Friday night. syfy keeps replacing good shows with crap. I will miss this show. p.s. the cliffhanger is coming. syfy don't give a f*** about the fans.

I always felt this was a often silly comedy. But it was sure fun to watch. And the guy who said netflix has nothing good to watch must be joking.ever seen Lost in space? , stranger things? frontier? , the age of tanks? There is a huge amount of good shows on it. The expanse was picjed up by amazon prime but the chance for this is small to none.
