It was announced today that F is for Family has been picked up for a fourth season. The good news comes more than a year-and-a-half after the animated comedy's last renewal, with series co-creator Bill Burr posting the good news on Twitter this morning.

Based on Burr's life growing up in a dysfunctional 1970s family, the half-hour series continues to be well-received by both audiences and critics. Netflix launched the series in 2015 with an initial episode count of six. That number was bumped up to 10 for Seasons 2 and 3, the latter of which was released this past November.

Another 10 episodes are expected for Season 4, with a release targeted for sometime in 2020.
