The long-running drama will say good-bye in 2020.
March 22, 2019
It was announced today that Supernatural will be coming to an end after its already-ordered 15th season. The news, which was posted on social media by some of its stars, comes two months after the veteran drama's most-recent renewal and will bring an end to one of television's longest-running series.
Originally premiering on the now-defunct WB Network in 2005, Supernatural has impressively amassed over 300 episodes and boasts one of television's most-loyal fanbases. Throughout its time on the air, the show has always been one of The CW's top-rated series - even to this day.
20 episodes have been ordered for the final season of Supernatural. That number matches the total of its current 14th season, which is its shortest in over a decade. Look for a premiere this fall.

i will need intense therapy after the series finale. i have been there since day 1. 15 years ago i watched the pilot and it blew my mind. i dont even care that there was some bad writing at times (*cough* leviathan) but i am so head over heels in love with the characters i can't give up. now i NEVER want it to end! and don't be trying some BS spinoff WITHOUT sam and dean. that's sacrilegious.

Peter Pan and John, really??! Why watch then and as for writing, literally LMAO! Anyway, it's been a long journey boys and as bittersweet as it is to end, something I never thought I'd be ready for for the first 14 seasons but it's time. Never missed an episode and I'm sure I'll buy all 15 seasons when they come out. I hope you'll still do comic con events because I live near Cincinnati and unfortunately never saw one near me. I wish you and the writers would do a farewell episode and tell fans your favorite episodes and favorite characters came on the show etc but I look forward to seeing you in future endeavors and I wish you all the best and thanks for being such a wonderful part in my life

Thanks for the memories. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Sam and Dean over the years. It's the ONE show my wife and I took pleasure in watching together.
To my fellow Supernatural fans, I'm curious to know what was your favorite Supernatural episode?
My favorite episode is Yellow Fever. I also liked Jensen's Eye of the tiger outtake.

Glad this is finally put out of its misery... The Winchesters should have stayed dead 5 seasons ago. I've watched every single episode but lately the only the horrifying is Jared's acting...

One of my favorite shows. I love the fact that they just kept coming up with new stories when it seemed like there was nowhere else to go. I can see how it would be hard for Sam and Dean to retire from hunting. Life would be too boring for them. I think they will miss the show just as much as the fans will miss it.

Jez so they want to spend time with families and do other things ,after 15 seasons i think that's valid don't you , they have made a show that will i know go on and they will promote show throughout career conventions etc so they will earn money still ....
any real complaints .....come on ....

I loved this show, its started in 2005 I was a lot younger. Of course I'm much much older now and have out grown out of the show 5 years ago. I kept watching because sticking with it for so many years I want to have my conclusion. Thanks Sam and Dean it's been a long journey lol

The show should end on a high note: we discover via SAm -a toothless inmate, that they were both physically and mentally abused as children which caused them to go on a 15 year killing spree killing innocents, ending with the short guy getting shot and burnt to death (by the feds) and the tall guy ended up some black dudes bitch in hard core prison, with his teeth smashed out for ease of access to nasty throat abuse (nightly) by his cell mates. A fitting end to a series that should have ran for 4 seasons. I should write for HBO. Those boys must be millionaires -must have made a deal with the devil. Bwhahahahahahah.

I think they should do one feature length movie after the end of Season 15 to tie up any remaining loose ends. Assuming it does well, then we can look for a sequel maybe three or four years after that, and a reboot possibly 20 years after that? ;-)

So very sad, but I understand. It had a great run and they should all be so very proud of their accomplishments.
Balls.....
