The naval spin-off will be back in 2019-2020.

CBS announced today that NCIS: New Orleans has been picked up for a sixth season. The second and most-recent spin-off of the NCIS franchise continues to be a steady performer for the network, drawing consistent viewership in its Tuesday night time slot.
Impressively, the naval drama surpassed the 100-episode milestone earlier this season. With the original NCIS already renewed and NCIS: Los Angeles also being picked up today, the entire franchise will be returning for the 2019-2020 season.

How does this TURKEY stay on the air? The lead characters are psychotic criminals operating as supposed federal agents and people like them! They do whatever they want without any regard to law or procedure. Time after time. They would be in prison after some of the stunts they pull. The Director of NCIS know what is happening and just ignores it? Or sends down a therapist ? Kidnapping, murder, theft. I mean really how? Dumbest ting I have ever seen! My wife insists on watching so I'm stuck week after week

Not sure why but this one is one of my favorites. I don't watch the original NCIS. I do agree that the show could use something more. They've tried adding new actors and so far nothing has clicked. Happy to hear it's still getting a chance!

Sorry but this has gone so down hill from Season 2 onwards, stop watching halfway through Season 3 and not regretted it

Gave up on this show after two episodes. Can Scott bakula actually do a new Orleans accent now, or is it still about two sentences an episode?

It's the only one I really follow. But I see why people like the others. Hopefully they can hold on to all their cast this season
