NBC has handed out an early renewal to America's Got Talent for Season 15. The news was announced today as part of the network's 2019-2020 schedule, securing the veteran talent competition's spot in its lineup for next summer.

On the air since 2006, America's Got Talent still maintains its position as the summer's top-rated series, regularly besting its time slot competition year after year. The brand even expanded with a Champions edition that premiered in January, and will be returning for a second season next year.

But before all that, Season 14 of AGT is set to premiere later this month. With it comes some changes, as outgoing host Tyra Banks will be replaced by Terry Crews, who hosted the Champions edition. Mel B and Heidi Klum have also departed and will be replaced by new judges Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union, who will join Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.
