Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? will be returning to television next month. Nickelodeon is reviving the quiz show for what will be its seventh overall season.

The series originated on Fox with Jeff Foxworthy as host, airing between 2007 and 2009 before moving to syndication, where it ran until 2011. Fox tried bringing the show back in 2015 with its original host, but it only lasted one season before getting the axe.

This latest incarnation on Nickelodeon will be switching things up a bit, with WWE star John Cena taking on the hosting duties. The main format will remain, with adults' knowledge, or lack thereof, being tested with questions derived from actual textbooks found in grade school classrooms. New for 2019 is a cheat option to help the contestants, as well as other ways they can get assistance from their young classmates.

Look for the new season of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? on Monday, June 10 at 7:00pm.
