ABC announced today that The Bachelorette will be returning for a 16th season. The news comes one week following the reality show's most-recent finale, which was its highest-rated broadcast since 2017.
The pickup comes as no surprise, as the entire Bachelor franchise continues to perform solidly for the network. Spin-off Bachelor in Paradise was also renewed today, and The Bachelor has already been confirmed to be returning once again next year.

I can’t believe people still watch this show and how did it get renewed with a 2.0 average user rating???? ABC has canceled better shows for this nonsense.

How can they keep renewing this crap? People seriously watch this garbage. Probably the same people who watch the housewives and kardashians. Smh
