Netflix announced today that Family Reunion has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes midway through the comedy's freshman run, which is being released in two parts.
The series follows the McKellan clan, who move from Seattle to a small town in Georgia, where the southern lifestyle, and traditional grandparents, challenge the big-city ways they are used to.
The show's first 10 episodes premiered in July, while the remaining nine episodes are expected to release in January 2020. A holiday special is also slated for December 9th.
As for Season 2, no time frame has been set for a return, though it is being reported that 16 episodes have been ordered.
