No Season 2 for the supernatural drama.
November 1, 2019
Word is out this evening that NBC has cancelled The InBetween after just one season. The news follows a summer run that saw the drama fly under the radar for the most part, drawing mediocre reviews and light viewership.
The series followed Cassie Bedford, a woman who was born with a gift that allows her to see and communicate with the dead. This has allowed her to help them with their unfinished business - whether she wants to or not. When her detective friend and his partner come to her for help, Cassie reluctantly agrees to use her abilities to help solve some of the city's toughest cases.

Isn't this the exact same premise as Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt?
I DVR'd and will watch the season.

I really enjoyed the show. I hate when good shows get canceled- especially when they end on a cliffhanger!!

I really enjoyed this show, but they needed to go more supernatural. When it becomes murder of the week , then you lose viewers. But even show , I realy enjoyed the cast of this one.

It was cancelled for low ratings. After a full summer run. A summer run means it was weak to begin with, and they hoped to generate viewership by not being a summer rerun. Didn't work. Which is a surprise to some, because it worked the first time, when it was called Medium, and the second time, when it was called Ghost Whisperer.
Just because you like a show, does not mean it's good, or does not mean it will be popular with the right demographic. I enjoy all sorts of show that I can immediately tell won't be around for long, because I know that my tastes are not always compatible with the masses.

Tommy is right the viewers told NBC the show was bad by not watching this.

@Nudnik of time
Yeah it doesn't have foreign powers working with the right wing to stop fair elections. Also it doesn't have right wingers protecting criminals by disrupting investigations into abuse of power. I agree show that aren't undermining America are "left - wing" and should be cancelled. Why should other people have opinions. Down with freedoms.

Was just thinking about this show the other day and was happy to see it wasn't cancelled. And then this happened.

@Mandy: I anxiously await the imminent cancellation of "All Rise" as it's just another "legislate from the bench" liberal platform out of the Hollywood Socialists.

I don’t believe I saw even one slightly negative review out of at least 20 positive ones. That’s a first. Doesn’t appear this show got a proper chance.
