Samantha Bee's late night show earns another pickup.
November 15, 2019
TBS has announced that Full Frontal with Samantha Bee has been picked up for a fifth season. The news is no surprise, as the Emmy Award-winning weekly news comedy program has been continuing its strong performance since receiving a two-year renewal back in 2018.
Considering the country's continued heightened interest in the political landscape, the show's popularity makes sense. Currently TV's top ad-supported late-night series among young adults, each episode of the show is seen by roughly 4 million viewers across linear, VOD, and digital platforms, with a total of over 300 million views on its YouTube channel alone.
Longtime Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee hosts the show, using her unique comedic voice to give a nuanced view of the country's current political and cultural issues. Additionally, international stories are covered with segments from countries such as Russia, Germany, and Iraq.

The amount of time I watch TBS has already approached zero much thanks to Bee’s gaudy extendable proboscis of a show.

This show should have been cancelled last year. Any individual who demonstrates such hate, rage and profanity as Samantha Bee should not be allowed on TV, she is a menace to society. I guess TBS has no sense of decency and is morally bankrupt!

I can appreciate some of the views expressed on this show, definitely not all, but some. However, at times the entire show comes across like Sam B may as well spend 22 minutes screaming "VAGINA" at the screen. No one pays attention to that other than the mindless sheep following her. She complains about Trump playing to his base.. all the while playing to hers. This was a great show at season 1.. and it's just devolved since.

Not sure if I am more surprised that Full Frontal is still a thing or TBS is still a thing... Not a fan myself, but I guess someone, somewhere watches this. I thought TBS just existed for Conan and Family Guy reruns.
Happy viewing!
