USA Network announced today that Straight Up Steve Austin has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes four months after the interview series' seven-episode summer freshman run, which ranked as last year's #1 new unscripted series on cable in key male demographics.
Retired WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hosts the show, where he is joined by famous friends to swap stories about their lives and careers during custom-tailored adventures in different cities across America.
Look for Season 2 of Straight Up Steve Austin this summer.

Yeah, this isn't a reality show. It's not a wrestling show, though he'll have wrestlers on from time to time. It's a celebrity interview show with a twist.
Steve Austin does podcasts and "talk shows" a bit differently than others and I think he's very underrated. No politics and no fancy set. It's just Stone Cold being Stone Cold. I didn't have a lot of expectation going into it, but between this and his WWE Network podcast, he's found the perfect place in his post-wrestling career.

Shows how much Steve S.’s opinion is worth. This show isn’t a reality show. It’s a talk show with activities, in the same vein as Ride with Norman Reedus. It’s great.

USA Network has made a deep dive into the fake and faker and reality toilet. Not that long ago USA was pretty good. Now it’s a throwaway channel, a real blight.
