The sci-fi drama has more story to tell.
April 22, 2020
HBO announced today that Westworld has been picked up for a fourth season. The good news arrives with two episodes remaining in the sci-fi drama's current run, which returned in March after a nearly two-year absence.
Headlined by an A-list cast along with big-name producers and high-quality production values, Westworld premiered in 2016 and made its mark by becoming HBO's most-watched debut series of all time. Each season has garnered a healthy amount of critical praise, though viewership this year has slipped considerably compared to Seasons 1 and 2.
Based on the 1973 film of the same name, Westworld is a dark odyssey that takes place in the near future, with a re-imagined past, during the emergence of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. The show left behind its adult theme park setting in Season 3, moving outside its walls to the futuristic city of Los Angeles.
No return date for Season 4 has been announced at this time, but considering the gaps between each season so far, a late 2021 or early 2022 return appears likely.

I also loved the first season of this show but totally lost interest a few episodes into season 2. Good news for the people that like the show though.

I love this show..Each season is great in its,own way , it is great sci fi. Very Deep sometimes, it is a big hit for those into well written sci fi. The show is very much in line with the best sci fi out there.

Season 1 was good.. apparently producers were annoyed viewers figured out some of the twists... Season 2 was HORRIBLE... a subtitled emotional mess hardly worth anyone's time. Season 3 is a mix... it's got bright spots but the underlying "Law & Order" monotone organ tones make episodes a bit grating, the soundtrack is pretty bad... the story is slightly convoluted due to the apparent time jumping... It's difficult to follow a storyline when it's all over the place. The hallucinations by Ed Harris's character are just a ball of tripe. Season 3 has some bright ideas.. the duplicate Delores.. the taking over the world.. but they REALLY need to get back to a straight storyline for season 4. And for heaven's sake.. kill the organ grinder.

I tried watching Season 3 and it is just plain stupid. The first season was pretty good and the 2nd was getting weird. I know this show is expensive to produce. Hollyweird should just save their money.

I can’t seem to get into season 3. It drags and then I become bored and fall asleep. Sorry...just my opinion.

I'm done as of a couple of weeks ago. I might have tried to figure out what the hell is going on, but I decided I just don't care about any of these people (or nonpeople). That's it for me.
