The drama will conclude with its longest season yet.

Netflix announced today that Ozark has been picked up for a fourth and final season. The news, which comes three months after the release of Season 3, will see the crime drama return next year for one last run of 14 episodes - its longest yet - to properly conclude the story.
The series has been a solid success for the streaming service since its premiere in 2017. Every season has garnered critical acclaim, with each outdoing the last, and it took home two Emmy awards last year in the Outstanding Supporting Actress and Outstanding Directing categories.
Executive produced by and starring Bateman, Ozark follows a financial adviser whose side job as a money launderer for the criminal underworld forces him to move his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. There, he's tasked with laundering $500 million over the next five years for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico.
Look for Season 4 of Ozark in 2021. The supersized length of 14 episodes will see it split into two parts of seven episodes each.

@Bonkers why not just stick with the Christian network channel or Hallmark. You'll find your kind of entertainment there.
If you don't like a show that's fine, your entitled to have your own taste no matter how bad it is.

At least we get a final season. Vagrant queen and many others end in cliffhangers due to cancellation.

Good news for fans actually. There's nothing worse than dragging out a good show just to have it ruined. It happens far too often. That said, the cast is really great and I loved the first season but admit I couldn't get into the second. I tried. Watched a few episodes in and just finally gave up. It just didn't grab me like the first season did.

Im with Sarah... I tried... i really did... but for some reason i cannot get behind a show where youre rooting for the bad guy... Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Shameless, Orange is... Everyone says how great it is, (and cinematically it may be,) but five episodes in, i was just hoping everyone gets killed off... Im happy that its fans are getting another season, good luck!

Yes!! Although season 3 gave me anxiety and bad dreams, I can't wait for more. But why call it one more season of 14 episodes, if you are splitting it into two parts of seven episodes each? That's the same thing as two more seasons; each having seven episodes. If you aren't making all 14 available at once, then it's not just one more season.

Sarah you gotta give it a few episodes to get into it. It's definitely a great show.

I always hear about how good this show is but I just couldn't get passed the first episode. Maybe I'll try again.
