A dramatic thriller where the action takes place in real time over a 24-hour period in the life of a US government agent fighting terrorism.

Jack Bauer works for the Counter Terrorist Unit, or CTU, helping to keep the United States safe from ongoing terrorist threats. He will use any means necessary in order to stop the enemy, putting his own life on the line for the sake of his country.

Each episode portrays one hour of real time over the course of the season, which amounts to one full 24 hour day. Known for its exciting storylines, the show uses unexpected double crosses and plot twists to reveal who the real villains are.
