Tyra Banks hosts this reality series where aspiring models compete to win the title of America's Next Top Model.

Created by supermodel Tyra Banks, America's Next Top Model is a competition where a group of inexperienced young women compete for a chance at a Modeling contract, a fashion spread in a well known magazine such as Seventeen or Vogue, and a lucrative cosmetics contract.

Early in the competition, the model wannabes undergo makeovers which range from hair coloring to drastic style changes.

Each week the contestants participate in activities common in the modeling industry such as "go-see's", runway walks, and creative photo shoots.

At the end of each episode their work is critiqued by a panel of judges, and one girl is sent home. This continues until the final week, where one girl is crowned "America's Next Top Model".
