This procedural crime drama set in New York is a spin-off of the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Set in New York, this series follows the same blueprint as its parent show. The crime scene investigation team works to solve murders and various other crimes in New York City. The use of hi-tech crime solving techniques is often in the spotlight.

CBS, you blew it with this cancellation. Like others commenting, I hate reality shows and think the decision to cancel CSI: NY is a major mistake. CBS used to be my favorite network, but they're doing a great job of changing my mind.

This was an absolutely wonderful program better than a lot of garbarge that's already on there I'm talking about ALL REALITY SHOWS you get enough of that crap in real life. I really am upset that you took this program off the air!!!!!!

Put csi new york back on. CBS is really messing up. They don't nothing on good anymore. Now I will only watch ballgames on that channel.

What angers me most about the sudden cancellations we have been seeing is the total lack of "wrap up" that happens and leaves loyal viewers hanging with so many questions. Networks want us to watch and stick with programs, but many get cancelled w/in the first season. When we do get hooked on a show and stick with it for more than one season, having it yanked mid season w/ no formal good bye and wrap leaves a bitter taste and anger. I personally don't watch any "reality" show b/c they bore me to tears, are obviously manipulated, and just there to interest the youngest members of the viewing group (the 18's in the 18-49 viewer profile.

I can't believe one of my favorite shows is cancelled. This was the best CSI out of them all! I hope the network reconsiders!!
