A drama following a multi-generational family of New York City cops.
Frank Reagan is the Police Commissioner of New York and head of the Reagan clan. He tries to run his department in the same diplomatic manner he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his father during his stint as Chief.
Frank's eldest son Danny is a seasoned detective and family man who, at times, uses dubious tactics to investigate his cases. The sole female in the family is Erin, an Assistant District Attorney and newly single mother, who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father.

They need to take this one off and put CSI Miami back on. Yawn, I cannot believe that the cast members are so good but are so bad at this show. Hate it!! SAD

Tom Selleck is the gold standard for dramatic TV and this show has, in my not-so-humble opinion, the strongest ensemble cast on the air. I always look forward to Friday nights (or whenever I can get to it on my DVR). Another no-brainer for the network execs in renewing for season 3.

Please let Tom Selleck do more than be the stern patriarch. He is so good at understated comedy and could be much more human on this show.

I love this show too. One of the best shows on TV right now. Well acted great story lines. I love the conservative values depicted on this show. Family unity, spending time together having a meal everyweek. The American flag flying them saluting it it's just a great refelction of me and my conservative family values. Not sure why more people aren't watching since everyone complains about all the sex swearing etc on TV or that to many shows have such an in your face liberal slant, and most of all everyone complains about reality crap on TV yet they don't watch this show. Go figure.Maybe we all have to tell more people about it get them to watch and like on Facebook perhaps then they won't cancel it. That would be a real shame.

We think this is the very best show on T.V. Most television is not worth watching but we NEVER miss Blue Bloods! The casting could'nt be better, and who does'nt love Tom Selleck? Please keep this QUALITY show on!!!

How could anyone cancel this great show? It has all the elements we love to watch...and Tom Selleck besides! Overall, the actors are great, the story lines are real, and I like it on Friday night at the end of a long week when I'm just watching the boob tube.
