Rizzoli & Isles, which is based on the crime novels by Tess Gerritsen, follows Boston detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles. These two close friends – and complete opposites – work together to solve crimes and bust some of Boston's most notorious criminals.

This is a great show, one of my favorites. I don't understand why all the negative comments? If you don't like it, don't watch it. The cast is wonderful, and I really like the humor between the two main characters.

Love this show but the whole thing with Maura's mother and the other daughter got a little too much; time to move on to new plot lines.

Can't stand the show. Isles character is so annoying it is unbelievable. She talks about the most ridiculous things and is so pompous.

What a great series to follow The Closer! I was sad when Saving Grace series went off, but this drama fits the slot well. Can't wait for next season.

Watched both these series from Scotland in the UK, a fantastic series and a credit to the whole production team and cast - can't wait for season 3
