A romantic comedy following the relationship between two co-workers getting over recent losses.
Alex and Helen are co-workers who end up in bed together after a night out. However they each might not be quite ready to be on the dating scene again - Alex is recently divorced and Helen just lost her fiancee last year.
At least they have one thing in common: they're both trying to get back on the horse again after their recent losses. But deciding to be just friends may be easier than it seems.

Free Agents could have been a good show. The problem was that it dragged on and never really delivered the level of romance between the two main characters that people wanted.

This was a wonderful show, funny and realistic but they have cancelled it...bummer!

NBC didn't give this show a chance. Good writing, mature subject, good cast. NBC spent too much time advertising other shows (that are not good or funny) and didn't put the same effort into showcasing Free Agents. You can't pull shows after just three episodes...
