A comedy following the friendship between a carefree trainer and an uptight columnist.
Inspired by the book of the same name, How to Be a Gentleman is a comedy about the unlikely friendship between a refined etiquette columnist and an unrefined personal trainer who is very much is opposite.
Andrew Carlson has a devotion to ideals from a more civilized time and leads a life very much detached from modern society. Bert, on the other hand, is an incredibly optimistic, reformed 'bad boy' from Andrew's past who can still be rude and obnoxious.
When Andrew is tasked with writing a column with a more modern topic, he hires Bert as his life coach to try and learn to be less of a gentleman and more of a real man.
