David wood's post proves he is an idiot.

I guess I've been spoiled by good cable shows, because this is the first network show I've watched in years, and this is clearly a piece of doo. I'm a huge Marvel fan, but this junk is insulting and boring as heck. Pander to a wide, "family" audience and this is the dreck we get. I hate that Agents is pretty much connected with the canon of the films, because most of them have been entertaining, and great in their own right. I hope Peggy Carter comes out better...also hope Peggy is replacing Agents. I suppose they could really salvage the show and reboot, if they killed everyone except May and Coulsen, and went from there. Also, it would help if Whedon were involved in the show more. I seriously doubt this is his fault, as I think some execs wanted to water the show down for ABC Family Time.

This is a really cool show. Not boring at all! I hope that it is renewed.

I had hopes for the series, especially given that it was a show that wasn't about CSI or vampires... but wow, it was surprisingly boring. I watched the first episode, wasn't impressed, and the 2nd episode actually put me to sleep... literally missed half the episode it was so boring. I'd rather see some other series that have been cancelled given a 2nd chance than see this get renewed.

I love when people say, it's not like Avengers, it's like raising your hand and screaming "I am a poser"! Not only is S.H.I.E.L.D. tv worthy it "isn't the Avengers" nor has it ever been, and if they were, wouldn't that be reduntant. It's interesting and looks like it had potential.

I've given this show a fair shake, and honestly, I'm incredibly bored by it. Snarky one liners and a cameo from Samuel L. Jackson, that equates to the amount of screen time he had in the movies upon which it is based, doesn't merit my continued viewership. Vanilla characters, safe premises, and loyalty is gauged on a secondary "fan favorite" character as their lead? This is more like the "The Avengers"; the box office disaster with Sean Connery and Uma Thurman.

Joss Whedon et. al. has returned to television. 'nuff said. All Hail...
One of my favorite new shows.

By and large, super hero shows and movies are pretty silly. Usually, their only redeeming trait is their special effects. A few exceptions like "Arrow" have some dramatic elements to give some substance. Will they inject more drama than the comic book variety?

DA hard to find had to enter periods after each letter. Not to impressed with the first show. Hope it gets better. Love the cast they have from the movie it is the only thing I do like. I want this show to makes it. MKL
