In Motive, the victim and killer are revealed to viewers early in each episode, but the circumstances leading to the crime, including the motive behind it, must be investigated by a team of detectives and a medical examiner.

This is an excellent show which challenges the viewer to consider several scenarios which could have resulted in a murder. Unlike the obvious mystery crime dramas which entertain only at the end of the program, getting the bad guy.....no complexity, no opportunity to use our imagination. Congratulations to ABC, the writers, and the actors.
