Was very excited MJF was returning to the small screen. Show wasn't as good as I expected, but many new shows take time to develop. I love him and was willing to hang with it because its HIM! Also loved the boss character and his wife's character was pretty good. The family seemed to not fall together well, but I think sometimes it was meant to feel that way for reasons of his illness, and no linger working like he used to, etc., as a plot thing. Again, LOVE MJ and his standing as an actor should have afforded him a SECOND SEASON as the show and characters developed and things came together. Instead, NBC threw him under the bus immediately without really allowing a full season's measure. They don't seem to care about good programming or developing decent plots, storylines, characters, longterm programming for longterm viewers, none of it. If it doesn't go BIG straight out of the gate, the chop it. Many successful shows did NOT start out as blockbusters, instead growing and developing into something special or something with a huge following. THINK, NBC! Don't just summarily drop the hammer without looking at the longterm fallout of chopping a MICHAEL J FOX show without a chance. . .

I think that this show had A LOT of potential. It just didn't work. The kids were not quite appealing enough to make it work and the sister and wife weren't quite right for Michael to play off of (even though I loved the wife, in particular).

In the immortal words of the comic book guy from The Simpsons. Worst Show Ever.

Think the show has real potential. An interesting premise and a talented cast. Love Katie Finneran!!!! Hope NBC sticks with this instead of the gawd-awful 'Sean Saves the World'.

I love the show. It's laugh-out-loud funny. I have always enjoyed watching Michael J. Fox on television. I'm glad to see he still has great acting chops. I really like the show when his real life wife came on, and she had a crush on him. I'll keep watching it.

Although I really sympathize with Michael's condition, I found the show more nerve wracking that humorous. I too took it off season pass.
