An action drama following Peggy Carter, an officer with the Strategic Scientific Reserve.
Back in 1946, Agent Peggy Carter of the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) has found herself stuck with administrative duties when she'd much rather be out in the field utilizing her vast array of skills. She's also figuring life out as a single woman after losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers - aka Captain America.
When old acquaintance Howard Stark is framed for providing his deadliest weapons to anybody with enough money, Peggy springs into action to help track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons, and clear Stark's name.

My wife and I love this show. This show is both big fun and social commentary. We enjoy watching a smart, strong, and beautiful female lead kick-ass in a male dominated superhero world. The character has developed a sizable following as an icon of women's rights and as a roll model. There is a popular t-shirt out there right now that displays the "I know my worth" quote attributed to Peggy Carter. I believe cancelling this show is yet another error in judgement on the part of the ABC staff.

The show hasn't been officially cancelled. Yes, Peggy Carter did die in SHIELD and Civil War, but that doesn't mean this series is cancelled. She died when she was 95, this show could have countless seasons if you want to go by that!

The show was officially cancelled. I thought the show had real potential but, the characters weren't developed correctly.

I think it is cancelled.
Probably out-muscled by competitors with flashier and crazier villains. There's just no appreciation for chic finesse.

On Yahoo they announced Aget Carter has been renewed. So I do not know what to believe. Hope it is rrnewed. MKL&ML

Just found out that Agent Carter is officially cancelled. Hayley Atwell have a new drama show call Conviction coming this fall on ABC.
To be honest, season 1 Agent Carter series, is that I really enjoy it. But in season 2 I found it very lame and not so great and that lead to cancellation of the series.
Oh well, let move on.

Oops. I meant "8 episode mini series". I think Under the dome was the 10 episode miniseries that turned into a show.....

it's funny how a "10 episode mini series" gets a 2nd season.....Don't get me wrong, it's better than reality T.V. but it's either a mini series or it's a T.V show. And since it got a season 2 I guess that would make it a T.V. show not a "10 episode mini series"
