A dramatic comedy based on the film series of the same name.
Iconic cop duo Riggs and Murtaugh from the Lethal Weapon franchise of films comes to the small screen in this reboot that combines action, drama, and humor.
Martin Riggs is an ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective who moves to California for a fresh start with the LAPD. He's partnered with Roger Murtaugh, who is just back to work after a near-fatal heart attack.
Riggs is known to run right into the line of fire, but his style clashes with Murtaugh's more by-the-book technique. Murtaugh, though, starts to take to Riggs' style as it starts to breathe new life into his daily grind.

I have watched dumpster fires that were more interesting! I think the Wayne’s Brothers need to go back to making scary movie films!

Even though i knew it would get canceled, Scott's character was much better and i enjoyed the show more with him in it..

Once Riggs' actor left, it went down hill from there. You can't have a Lethal Weapon show, with out RIGGS and Murtaugh! It's NOT Lethal Weapon, then. It's Another Cop Dramady. That's it. This show's vital signs were fading at the START of last season.
Shame, too. Too bad the behind-the-scenes drama couldn't be handled...because this show, and surprisingly, its writing, had potential. Oh well. Maybe in another 10 years?

Please dial back the injection of political views and "social justice." If we want that we will watch cnn. This show got past the "Riggs" issue and came out stronger in my opinion. PLEASE, do not drive it off the cliff !

I really tried to like the show with Clayne Crawford, but the show just didn’t work and I stopped watching. I started watching again when Cole was added. Although I had my doubts about his addition, I think Seann William Scott is terrific in the role. I’m really enjoying it now. Nice save Fox!

I will NOT be watching this if they renew it for season-4. They simply injected too much current politics and "social justice" stuff into it-- and it ruined the show for me. I watch fictional shows to GET AWAY from all the politics on TV "news" (etc.).

It would be nice if tv shows and actors would keep their political views out of the shows. Portraying border patrol agents as the villains and those who cross illegally as victims is certainly a slanted view! Additionally, the plots are getting quite far-fetched. It seems like the writers are taking a lot of leaps - Murtaw just happened to fall down the cliff EXACTLY where Cole fell down the cliff. COINCIDENTALLY Cole dropped his badge there! Come on - it's a huge desert!

This years show is by far better than all the other seasons. Looks like everyone is happy to work together and it shows, Now all the network has to do is get Wayons to sign another year contract.
