The only redeeming thing about this show was the last episode from season one. J-Lo is taken hostage and wearing sexy, black lingerie and trench coat, barely able to contain her ample assets.....

First series was good, then it became sillier and sillier.
<Spoiler> The part on the bus with Woz is just unbelievable.
Glad it's finished.

I think the show can and should go on without JLo. The show has plenty of talented actors and they can carry the show without her and maybe she could have a recurring role if she wants to in the future. It's like Kyra Sedgwick who starred in The Closer. She left the show and the cast carried on without her and the show was renamed.

It figures -- it's their best season ever and it's ending! Too bad NBC doesn't know how to promote and schedule their good shows!

An ok show because of Ray - nothing else - NBC doesn't know anything about good shows anyway!!!

Has Shades of Blue been renewed for 2018 season?!

I found the ending to be a bit disconcerting, especially where Liotta's character (Wozniak) is shot in the lower abdomen by a young black kid inside the station right at the very end of the episode. Like all season cliffhangers, we'll have to wait until next year to find out what happens to Wozniak and Harlee. What I found disconcerting is Liotta's role in "Texas Rising", where he's shot in the stomach by a young Latino boy. What gives? If Liotta is cast in another TV show or movie like these, will be be shot again. What's with Liotta anyway?

j lo , is doing a decent job on here. And ray always makes a show better. He's in his fifties and he is lucky to get a tv series at that age. That's why he's doing it. I enjoy this show and the haters were wrong it's coming back.

We love this show. If you don't like it, don't watch it! You don't have to be haters, just move on.

this show had potential. jlo unbelievable as a nyc detective. i'm a detective and there is no way i or my colleagues would be found in that thick makeup baggy pants... who cries at every scene. give me a break. that's not acting. so you produce the show and thought to give yourself a bad acting gig... no such a wise move. leave the real acting to real actors - Ray Liotta disappoints.
