Hundreds of years in the future, the last survivors of the human race discovered a means to send consciousness back through time, directly into people living now, in the 21st century.

In present day, these 'travelers' assume the lives of seemingly random people, while secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future.

FBI Special Agent Grant MacLaren leads the team, who are armed only with their knowledge of historical events and an archive of social media profiles. Together the travelers learn that 21st century lives and relationships are as much of a challenge as their high-stakes missions.
