A drama following an ex-cop whose life is changed by an imaginary blue horse.
Nick Sax is a corrupt ex-cop now working as a hit man, who is intoxicated and adrift in a world of casual murder, meaningless sex, and betrayal. After one of his jobs goes wrong, his life is forever altered by a small, relentlessly upbeat, imaginary blue winged horse named “Happy”.
Adapted from the graphic novel of the same name by Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson.

I'm trying to figure out how they will translate this to TV. The graphic novel is gritty, dark, sleazy and gory. Nick's use of vulgar language would make Negan from TWD blush. I loved it! Yes, the horse part is a bit odd at first, but it also kinda works. But that's a book. As far as making into a show though I'm just not sure. You obviously will have to lighten it up and that to me would ruin it.

As a graphic novel, this was just ok. As a TV show? I'd say no. I'm actually surprised out of all the graphic novels out there, they'd even consider this one.

They cancelled Dark Matter, but this sounds like a good idea? Really?

A drama following an ex-cop whose life is changed by an imaginary blue horse, sounded great until the imaginary blue horse. Stupid.
