A drama following the lives and careers of first responders.

Police Officers, firefighters, and paramedics are the people who put their lives on the line to save and protect others.

Based on the high-pressure experiences of real-life first responders, this series takes viewers into pulse-pounding situations that are always intense, often unpredictable, and at times, uplifting.

Follow these heroes as they work to balance saving the lives of those who are vulnerable with the everyday issues in their own lives.

This show is ok. I like that they are giving fire fighters some love, they need to be honored just like the police officers do. If I could do it differently, I would make the show in the style of Law and Order. Like focus on three different cases and make them more realistic. They could do a wild fire, since the west tends to get them a lot.

Find it hard to enjoy when things like a persons foot is lodged in-between the cement in a main intersection and the two responders stop trying to remove her foot and engage in personal conversation while this person is stuck . This is just one of many incidents that take place that make this show so unbelievable. Really how does this get renewed. If I was a supervisor at this scene watching the two responders not showing any effort to remove the person They would be fired on the spot. MKL@ML would rate this show a ZERO. Like the cast members but the show is bad.

I gave the first episode 10 minutes and I saw a disaster in progress. Despite my low expectations for rationality, I’m surprised it’s still going.

JP - I wonder if they started the show with a gay romance and that sealed the deal for me? I used to be unaffected by gay affairs in tv and film (unless it’s the main storyline which is always a turnoff for me) but since they’re now part of a seemingly majority of new shows, they nearly always give a contrived agenda feel - because that’s what is is - an agenda which undermines good will. I think agenda-driven tv is destructive, even to the causes being promoted. Gay relationships in tv are wrecked by the excessive patronage of them.

We need a warning rating system to alert us that programs are agenda-driven, and whatever the (real or apparent) agenda is, it should be included in the warning. Of course, radicals will control the warning/rating, so it has zero chance of success - meaning it will happen.

I have enjoyed all 10 episodes of this show and am glad it has been renewed. I look forward to Season 2 and hope it has more than just 10 episodes!

This show really went above and beyond in checking the LGBT box. I mean, what other show on TV has 3 gay couples like this one does!?! It's a bit much wouldn't you agree? I guess maybe the gayness is used to cover up the otherwise boring story lines and the generally bad acting.

I really, really love this show. It is one of those television programs where anyone is at risk of dying or getting hurt, even some of the main(ish) characters. This show keeps me on the edge of my seat. I love it!
