Love this show. I am so bummed. I just don’t understand why crap gets to stay on and shows with quality acting are cancelled. Shame on the network.

THIS WAS A FABULOUS SHOW, WHATS THE MATTER SHOWS THAT HAVE SOME FOUNDATION ARE MISSING FRIM TV AND YOU KEEP THE STUPID SHOWS ON! THERE HASNT BEEN GREAT TV IN YRS. AND NOW ALL THE NETWORKS ARE CANCELLING SHOWS WITH SOME SUBSTANCE.

We love this show! Why do they always cancel the good ones? Shame on you NBC, this was a quality show.

I watched the finale. The comments right before were "Newest Hit," "Outstanding" "Excellent" and it's cancelled. So who's lieing? I hope you get allot of pushback. This was a good show, period.

Shame on you NBC. This show was different , real,
Raw and great. Had potential for these unique characters to grow and
Carry on storylines. It wasn’t a cop, hospital , lawyer or fireman show, finally ,so refreshing . Tackled real problems
Can only hope another network sees its potential and picks it up!
Rise was something to look forward to watching

It's not like Glee and it wasn't intended to be. Glee was a musical comedy where they used music to further the story. Rise is a drama that centers around a high school drama club that is doing a musical. It's completely different from Glee, so the comparison is a false equivalency and unfair. I like this show so far, the writing and acting are good, and the story lines are interesting. I hope they get a Season 2... I'd love to see which musical they pick to perform. Rent maybe???

It feels like Friday Night Lights - doesn't shrink back from tough issues. I like the music, the camera work, the character development. I hope the Rise succeeds, because I want to see more!

The only resemblance to Glee is that it's set in a high school and they sing(for the play they're going to perform). Good character development and story line.
